He Joined the firm in the last two years and he has been providing a leading role in provision of compliance, consulting and advisory services with regard to taxes covering direct and indirect taxes to local and multinational clients. In view of this, he has a wide experience in managing Consumer Industrial Products (CIPs), financial sector (banks & insurance), Oil and Gas, and services industry clients and provides tax compliance and advisory services to some of BTM largest clients. In this role, he regularly provides advice on complex advisory matters as well recommendations on key compliance requirements. He is a member of the firm’s technical committee which provides guidance on complex tax matters.

 As a tax manager in tax line of service, Apollo is responsible for managing tax assignments/projects and quality management to ensure that adequate work is performed, in accordance with set timelines. He also coordinates with Somalia BTM office for tax advisory services.

Apollo holds a M.A in Economic Policy Management from University of Nairobi and B.A in Economics (first class honors) from Moi University. He is also a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA) graduate and a Certified Public Secretary (CPS) graduate.

 Apollo heads the tax quality review department. In his experience, he has gained the below key competences;
